NOTES:
"Take your time today"

"Ever get that eerie feeling that the person looking back at you in the mirror just moved when you weren't looking? Maybe its not just a feeling..."

Provides time with a way to speed up deck out based strategies by clearing the opponent's deck of its creatures. It also builds off of aether's mirror game strategy as well.
The creatures are delayed 1 turn in order to give the players a chance to deal with the new threats. This also gives a slight advantage going to the owner of this card since it will still be their turn when the creatures enter play.

Don't you feel like this would be helping the opponent out more then you? They get to play a free creature without using a turn or any quanta, but the player of this card is spending quanta to get a copy of the opponents creature. Maybe make the delay of your creature nothing?

It is a similar card to :aether Mindgate, with the difference of not having the extra quanta costs for playing the card, and instead be penalized with turn delay along with the risk of the creature dieing before being able to attack. Even as it also gives an advantage to the opponent, certain cards like :time Reverse Time or  :aether Lightning could mitigate the enemy potential. The card is powerful and more viable and splashable in non-rainbows than :aether Mindgate, but requires other cards to truly make the most of it. I like this idea.

I was originally thinking about this when I first designed it as a :life and then as an :aether card. I realized, however, that it fits best in time for both thematic and balance reasons and that the benefits outweight the quanta drawback if combo'd with time and aether cards appropriately.
Exacyly. Being in the time element gives the player the option of either packing CC and using it to attempt to eliminate enemy creatures before they can attack or else you can pack eternity or rewind and use it as a source of creature advantage.
With RT, you can get multiple copies of your opponent's creatures while they get stuck with one each... and get their draw clogged up in the process.
And, if the quartet pillars and / or other quanta generator cards from cygnia ever get added (big if of course... *sigh*) packing in cardinal pillars would let you combo this with scarabs and pharaohs. I.e. you would just eat the creatures it summons for the opponent.
Alternately, you could make use of quint or anubis to protect your own creatures that get summoned while rewinding or lightening bolting theirs.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
