Cards that generate quanta cost X more to play, where X is the number of said cards that player has on the field.

NOTES:
(I can't find any varient of this card on the elements forums, which surprises me.
Given how many weird edits I'm putting in these notes, This card is a work in progress.)

Both cards affect both players and stack.

There's nothing that really has to be said. Basically pillars cost quanta to play. This could really nerf nova, it could make rushes a bit more slower and annoying.
This card is probably severely undercosted and is probably somewhat OP. Not *too* OP, but still OP. The problem with balancing this card is that if you can't get it out early, it's useless. This effect does stack though, and... bleh.

Spoiler for Initial Cards::

I am assuming that this card's effect affects both players. If it only affects the opponent then it is probably severely OP.

If it affects both players then it basically slows the pace of the game. The only issue I really see is that it will overly favor rainbow decks since these decks tend to produce far more quanta and would thus be much less affected by the additional costs.

Other than that, the unupgraded version should be fairly good as it is. If you go first, getting several out in your opening move could be a very nasty stall tactic.

The upgraded version will be too powerful if it stacks. It would also overly favor nova and immolation based decks which would be unaffected by it.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

Both cards affect both players,
Both cards stack.
I really do think this card needs an element and not just be other, but none fit the card well enough, imo.

Darkness and Gravity would probably work best... maybe time as well, but thats a little more iffy. I like it as a type other card myself. It could also do well under the "mirror" pseudo quanta ( http://elementscommunity.org/forum/card-ideas-and-art/(pseudoquanta)-mirror-quanta-(hyroen)/ ). Mirror quanta draws from the element matching the owner's mark. It gives a way to implement :rainbow costs that need to be over a few quanta.

Because it essentially just slows the pace of the game, I think it could be good in just about any element.

Gravity and Darkness have quanta denial based around the enemy having quanta, whilst this stops them from getting quanta in the first place. Earth has EQ, which is the only card that does this. I would say that I should AVOID those three elements, Because this is probably going to be somewhat OP no matter what I use so I should not buff those three. In this respect, water and entropy is out because of their colours.

Yeah, I'd say time as well.
Mirror could instantly destroy decks that are mostly (X) colours and just use marks to splash in another colour.
