So, Darkness is the process of trading valuables for necessities, or in short, preciousness for practicality. Such a lovely element.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Card modified. Self-poison to get quanta is a nice idea...imo, of course...

Immolation for :darkness , pretty interesting. Though, with this being free, and novas in the deck, this could make an easy darkness based rainbow (with Purify included).
Thumbs up for the idea. I still have a weak hope that Purify will be reworked a bit though.

Five health per turn is nothing when you are gaining this much tempo advantage. Given the quality of cards from this element, I say you need to make it a more severe clock. Otherwise you can abuse the synergy with Time, rip through your deck and win.

@Jmizzle7
Do the following calculations make sense or did I make a mistake?

Immolation
Cost: 2cards +summon [0- :fire] +2upgrades (the sacrifice used is typically upgraded)
Benefit: Nova +8 :fire

Shard of Gratitude
Cost: 3 :rainbow +1card +1upgrade
Benefit: Regenerate 5

Anti SoG
Cost: Poison 5
Benefit: 3 :rainbow[~1 :darkness] +1card +1upgrade

Cost: Anti SoG +2cards +3 :rainbow[~1 :darkness] +2upgrades
Benefit: should be on par with Immolation

Conclusion: Dark ritual (upgraded) should be on par with immolation 9 :darkness looks fine.

I think you all misread it... The fact is that this doesn't generate every element quanta. It's just the dark quanta. Hence, it's just a card that produces dark quanta, useful in many decks but not OP (IMO) because the price is quite severe. 5 health per turn may not seem much, but if you play more than one (quite probable) it starts stacking...

Could make for a wonderful rush card, anyway, and some VERY good pillarless mono-dark farmers...

Kakerlake: I believe that there is no God as in something that can think by itself and does stuff that sounds way OP.
