Drains  :water :water per turn. if you have no water quanta, nothing happens. Each plant drains water quanta individually. So if you let your field fill up you wont have any quanta left. you can feed them to your creatures to give them an extra boost

How come the upped version is buffed in both defense and effect? Imo too big of a jump.

Agreed. Why not just up effect? Defense has 3 is already good enough for both.

actually i think of the two effects, the buff to ability is way more OP. but you both are right. having both buffs is probably overkill.

A creature called "Rice Plant"?

Why not make it a permanent instead? It would make more sense and this already has 0 attack.

true. but then how do i get the bonus from flooding, or are you against that? I guess I could have it fill up your permanent slots... that might make it so it can go back to being a life card.

Hmmm.

What about this?
In the current game, I feel that the new version would be even worse - only one card triggers Flooding and that's Flooding itself.
Perhaps find another way to associate it with water?

I like the concept of growing something and feeding it to your creatures, making them stronger. But I think that Rice Plant might be the wrong choice. Although thematically it fits perfectly with Flooding, it's also kind of.. lame. I mean we have all kinds of Dragons running around, Rains of Fire, Lightnings and Rice? If you want people to get excited about this idea, you probably need to come up with something cooler, maybe even something magical? Maybe like a tree that bears magical fruit or something, I don't know.

I agree that the switch from :water to :life was a good move. Makes more sense this way. Not sure about the mechanics though. Maybe you should try what Zblader suggested. Like... generate a copy when the owner plays a :water card? Um.. maybe not.

Here's an idea: give it a passive ability such that each turn it drains :water and spawns a new plant. If you can't pay the :water, it won't spawn anything.

This means that it will quickly spawn new plants, but if you let too many grow it will completely drain your :water quanta. You can counter this by feeding it to your creatures and keeping the number of plants in check.

I mean we have all kinds of Dragons running around, Rains of Fire, Lightnings and Rice?
I loled.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I like the flooding synergy, so to maintain it I would make the trigger for an effect "each time water quanta is used", but I don't want it to be used with forest spirits... maybe "each time water is used at the end of your turn"? (But that's just as situational as flooding...)
