Actually, what exactly does this do? Like, could somebody name some uses for this beside quanta protection?

In its current state, quanta protection is pretty much it.

If cost were dropped to 1 or 2 instead, then it could be a viable pillar alternative for a mid game burst... maybe...

It would be cool if this thing could match the owner's mark instead of a specific element.
Granted it could allow multi fractal or multi blitz, but the setup time and vulnerable may help keep that balanced.


... This is all assuming that this card doesn't actually absorb the owners quanta. If it does then its gone be pretty UP... or situational at best.

Why would it need to match the mark? Just buy a Fire one if you want fire, a Time one if you want time. Mix and match as appropriate. 

Yes, it produces its own quanta.
