ART: No IDEA: Clean0nion NOTES: A box for storing quanta. Technically this is a Series, but I've only carded the Time version because I'm lazy. There would be 11 more, all be the same but with different names, art and element. Should I end up submitting this to the Crucible, please note it is an Other submission. Or something like that. "Collect": consume X quanta of that type and store them in the Box. "Open": Destroy the Box. All quanta inside it is added to your pool. If the Box is destroyed by any other means, it does not release quanta. If it is Stolen, it collects quanta from its new owner and keeps the quanta that it had previously collected. If its owner does not have enough quanta to satisfy the Box's needs, it only takes what it can, which might be nothing. If the box contains more than 75 quanta, and is opened, then the quanta pool is filled and rest is just destroyed along with the Box. Boxes collect quanta in order of most-recently-played or whatever's easiest to code. If you have 4 and 3 Upgraded Boxes, Box 1 gets , Box 2 gets , and Box 3 gets nothing. Ideally there would be a little number on the card to display how much it has collected. Like Golden Hourglasses, they don't physically stack but you can have more than one. SERIES: Boxes

So it doesn't actually generate quanta, it just collects it from your own stores.

Seems UP to me.

It's soft defense against denial, but at quite a cost investment.

I think it should generate the itself, not just take from what you already have. This way it can pay back its own cost investment as long as you're willing/able to wait for it.

In either case, Sky Blitz/Fractal could get pretty broken with this. It'd only take 3 turns (upped) to store enough quanta to be able to use those twice. Notably that'd take 5 turns unupped, which is clearly much slower.

True, true. Generation would be better.

Oof, I hadn't considered the possibilities with Fractal. Now this seems UP and OP. Maybe not such a good idea.

Dunno. Other than possible Fractal/Blitz abuse I like it. It's like a long-game quanta investment. Fractallable, yes. Unless they explode it.

It's also a possibility you could create this for only one element, therey ruling out double Blitz. Kind of like Soul Catcher for another element. Time seems good thematically, though I'm not sure what you'd use this for other than Fractal Ghosts or something.

Or you could make these like "Enchanted Vase" or something to make it sound more fantasy-ish.

Oh yeah, they'd all have different names. Things like Glass of Time, Tank of Water, Vial of Entropy, Field of Gravity, Box of Earth. The Box is just a placeholder.

I'm just saying that Boxes of Aether and Air might be OP due the possibility of repeating Fractal and Air Blitz, as UndeadSpider pointed out. So I'm suggesting that we omit them. 



Haha, it'd be nice if a second use of Fractal produced only Singularities.

It's even too physical for Time.

Hm, I like all of those with the exception of Lair. Bit I really like Schrödinger's Box, that one's great.
