This would be the proposed Bouguer's Demon if its ability were to be changed.

No more directly damaging airborne creatures (largely because no text space), but you have the ability to "commandeer" creatures - but slowly, over a couple of turns.

Let me know if you would prefer the second version over the original.

I love this idea. I still think the casting cost should be increased, but this would definitely see use, and would make :gravity a much better stalling element.

Thanks! I'll keep the casting cost for now, partly to see what others say, and partly because I already closed the card builder. xD

Replaced the old polls with a new one for the revamped version.

Needs way lower stats and higher quanta cost. The ability is awesome, but very good, and the current card is pretty awesome WITHOUT the ability. (Use with overdrive for mono gravity.)

Card idea i had in relation to this ability.

[03:16:54] Powerfrog: I just had a pretty interesting idea. Card with 30hp 0atk and automatic gravity pull. It pulls the full row towards it but only pulls every 3rd turn, starting on turn 0 when summoned.
[03:17:59] Powerfrog: Could easily be destroyed before the effect, but with freezes and other CC, could be used in very game changing tactics.

That's.... not exactly saying much given that Gravity has a subpar mono when compared to other Monos such as Aether, Fire and Entropy. Without the ability, this is only slightly better than a Graviton Mercenary and worse than a Sapphire Charger in cost/damage ratio.
In regards to balance : how do you feel being able to control enemy creatures is balanced with this card? (I'm not saying it's OP or anything, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it given that "Control Enemy" card ideas tend to stir up a bit of dislike on the forums.)

I think the fact that it takes up to three turns to work its "magic" balances out the fact that it can commandeer creatures. It gives the opponent enough time to counter it, and the repeated usage of gravity quanta would be hard to sustain in the meantime. The "one turn" situation (where the enemy creature is in the row closest to your field) would only occur with swarms of creature such as Fractal decks, Queens, or Pharaohs (or SoSebows, which can multiply fast) and by that point I think it would be safe to say anything you do wouldn't compare to the damage output on their side.

That said, I intend to lower the HP and/or raise the casting cost to make it harder to pull off successfully. I think the ability cost can stay the same, considering only Entropy Nymph has a costlier ability (unless I'm forgetting some).

I really like the card, but I feel like it needs to be made more vulnerable, perhaps by lowering its stats to 3/5 imo.  That way lightning bolt and rage potion could take it out.
Walk towards the :light...

Changed stats to 1|5 and 1|6 respectively, kept casting costs and ability costs the same. Also replaced the old poll with a new one, please let me know what you think of the current version. Thanks for all the feedback so far!

I like the idea I think it could use a little attack buff and HP nerf.  Maybe 2/3 unupped and 3/3 upped.  Everything else the same.  I don't like the idea of a creature thief that is hard for some elements to kill.  Also 3 attack is that sweet spot that makes it a worthwhile creature even when it's ability won't be used (like maxwell's or druid or ultharid).
