I agree. Parasite should belong to Dark/Death, while Symbiote should belong to Life. Unless you mean symbolically...? Like something drawing on the power of its opponent, and something drawing on the power of its ally... Not biological parasite/symbiote, but rather symbolically...?
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

IE: the dragons don't have any abilities 'cept the aether one.
The Aether Dragon was only made immortal to stop TU- spamming Aether dragon decks walking all over the FGs easily. It was for game balance, not theme.

...look, Elements are Elements. Building blocks of the World, found in places or such.
Well by that logic none of these things should be elements and we should be using oxygen, nitrogen, silicon, etc... c'mon don't be that guy.
I think he's using more of an alchemical interpretation of elements than a physics-based one.

On topic-

Great ideas, need some balancing. I agree with earlier posters they belong more in existing elements not creating new ones.

Blending them into Life and Darkness would work, but that'd seriously bloat those two decks.  Which, of course, means you'd have to make similar new cards for all the other decks.  Which is a lot of work!  If someone's up to it, that's great.

Although, I do think the idea of Parasite works better with Death than Darkness.  I know in application the abilities fit better with Darkness (Darkness already has some parasitic abilities), but the theme works better with Death.

Why? A parasite is a living creature- that doesn't represent death at all. Neither do the spiders- but they are already in the game. Personally I think spiders and vampires should be swapped. Death element should get zombies/liches/ghost type creatures and darkness should get rats/parasites/etc.

Hmm... I guess Virus is also technically a living creature... But i don't see that fitting darkness.
