"Today the old must give way to the new"

"Nothing instills an immobilizing fear like watching ones allies fall and knowing the same gruesome fate is on its way to you. All you have to do is give a little substance to that notion... Use it!"

Pretty simple mechanic, this places a status effect / debuff on a target creature that inflicts 1 turn of delay on its victim each time a creature dies.
In a dedicated deck, this can very effectively immobilize a creature permanent.

This is actually a really interesting concept. Is the Bone Cage effect a passive, akin to say, Devourer?

It would be like adrenaline or momentum.

I'm not sure if it should be lobotomizable or not though...

"Akin to Adrenaline and Momentum" are relating two dissimilar things - especially when it comes to Lobotomize.

Adrenaline is not a lobotimzed skill whereas Momentum is removed by Lobotomize.

(I noticed since the post-icon was set to the Mark of Death... this is a GREAT idea for anyone else doing :death cards as it makes it very likely I may see it and chime in.  Of course, that presumes the card creators care if I see them...)

The main point is that it does not remove the creatures current skill(s) in anyway (unlike overdrive or liquid shadow).
As I said though, I'm unsure about whether lobo should remove it or not.

I've started using the marks for all my cards now. They weren't always available in the past but now that they are I agree that its a great way to mark the cards for players that focus on a particular element.

That's great, I didn't even notice that. Sadly, there are only few players who make Water cards.  :(

Most designers (if not all) design from all elements, I have yet to hear of a designer who would only design for a particular element.
