That's not a bad idea, it's just that it would only work for devour. So you would have the normal effect, then the lobotomy effect for things like momentum, adrenaline, vampire, deja vu, growth, ablaze, gravity pull, dive, scavenge, hatch, etc, and then a special effect just for devour. I wouldn't want the card to have too many different effects depending on which ability isn't compatible with the main idea.
