| NOTES: | "Today is a great day to be alive"
"You shall walk in the valley of paradise today. But, beware its serpentine guardians. For their alluring beauty belies their deadly bite. Tread lightly"
This card presents a strategic challenge for the player and (upgraded) opponent. It grows higher in HP (and harder to kill) each time it attacks by creating more marked cards in player hands and decks. This can be reduced by playing the marked cards, but in doing so, the serpents will gain in attack what they lose in toughness.
This mechanic is meant as a thematic metaphor for a dangerous action, such as a vice / addiction. The more time is spent ruminating on said action, the larger the temptation to do it grows and the harder it is to be rid of it. Performing the action can sate the desire temporarily, but each time the action is performed its repercussions grow more deadly.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
