ART: IDEA: OTL NOTES: Light sure could use a bit of CC I've costed it similar to pandemonium for now, but I'm thinking of increasing both costs by 1 as it has quite the synergy in The Immortal. Thoughts? SERIES:

Damn, could've sworn I checked the light crucible for anything similar

There are some differences between mine and furball's

• Mine is mass CC
• Mine has no variables, making it suitable for any light stall
• Mine allows the use of abilities (which makes sense, why can't you grow/eat/dive even if you're blinded?)

I'm not sure if it's sufficiently different though, so I'll just not submit this to the crucible (at least, not until furball's gets archived)[/list]

This one seems to be sufficiently distinct from the others, so I don't see much harm. Thematically it makes good sense. The point of card idea submissions is to provide new ideas for Zanz to use. This card and each of the others Furballdn listed give a different perspective on how the theme of "blinding" or "bright" light can be interpreted / implemented.

if you think of this as a nonshield non permanent dusk shield, this makes sense.
not a shield=+3
not permanent=-4
6+3-4=5
mayb enot perfectly balanced, but i like it.

After a cost comparison by OldTrees, dropped upped cost to 3. Now to look for good art

Nope, not really, the fact that its a spell (therefore the effect can't be outright destroyed) and that it has a turn limit should differentiate it enough.
