NOTES:
So this card delays the target for one turn then if you have more light quantum the computer chooses another of that players creatures to be delayed cycling through all the creatures that player has once. It can then begin the cycle again adding additional delay counters. I think it should probably be capped at delaying 2-3 times per creature.
SERIES:
x spells
I think all the elements should have an "x spell" in the vein of firebolt, ice bolt, drain life, and stone skin. I thought this idea was just so thematically suiting to light I had to share it.

I do however feel it might be powerful with all the light emitters in the game. and its a tad redundant with cards like sundial and dimensional shield making deck able to lock you out for many turn. for that reason it might need a nerf. The first nerf I had in mind was draining of light quantum however that ruins the cards early game value.

Comments and thought appreciated.

(ps, first time posting card idea this is the smithy isnt it?)

This is the smithy. Welcome to the Card Ideas and Art forum.

Multitargeting has not been added to the game. I believe there was a problem with canceling a spell after the first target is selected.

However if the above problem turns out to be my faulty memory (possible but don't get your hopes up) then your multitargeting solution is a good solution to the question of implementation.

PS:
Series require 6 cards.
If Death gets a X spell it would have to be balanced against the massive quanta they can produce. (They fractal dragons man! Dragons!)

Make it random, that solves that problem :)

Thanks for the heads up Oldtrees

I just imagined the game would target them the same way they come into play and then repeat. but I could see where that might cause some programing difficulty.

Make it random, that solves that problem :)
but random like Pandemonium might fix that problem....

Cheers guys

(and im secretly working on other X spells ;))

This is a very cool and simple idea. Great one for your first suggestion. I imagine this as a light wave that keeps waving at the enemy creatures weakening and confusing them.

However, i think there is no need to remove the multiple one-by-one targeting of this card (but you are the one to make the decision about that). Adding a new mechanic or code is needed most of the time when a new card is implemented.

The reason is that this card kinda fixes it's own flaws by itself. While targeting the second time,if you cancel it, it would be not using this upto it's full potential and the entire chain would end there (if it works the way i think it would).

Balance wise i think the unupped one could use a price drop to 2 light quantas. It's effect only delays for 1 turn.

I think that this kind of multi-targeting along with the way this card is designed, it will be very fun if implemented.
My real-life sucks. So i come online to compensate that.
