I don't think I've seen it in permanent form though. I remember it done as a spell and activated skill, but not a constant effect on a permanent.

Because its in permanent form, if it gets destroyed they  :air lose airborne ability.

Interesting, although if it gets destroyed, how would you know what creatures would lose flying? Or would all of them lose it?

If this could be allowed to affect opponent's side somehow, it would be like causing a mass "web" effect if you destroy it.

...That could be a very powerful combo with Wings!

It would certainly give this card unique potential.
