Why Cry, everything I have said is true.
Why do you want to particularly attack the SoG? What is your idea you want to develop into a card? Is it a shard that is corrupted that you want to make? Is it something else. Your idea is just shown to us as a card with no background idea and a weak mechanic there is not much more we can do with just that.
I agree with Kael. In this circumstance (as much as I'd love to see a new 'shard'/other card mechanic), this card is just too situational for the entire game. If it was something other than 'destroy this card and remove the HP bonus gained from it' for a one time cost that's free, it would be much more innovative and give incentive for players to use it.
I PERSONALLY do not use shards in my deck (even though I could upgrade one now and start using some). You may hate them when facing AI5 or false gods or other players, but they're no better or worse than healing effects gained from spell cards (Improved Miracle anyone?) or other permanents (multiple Feral bonds). Healing can be countered in better ways, and usually through more direct (creatures, spells, etc.) or indirect (destroying/stealing healing effects, poisons, quanta denial, etc.) ways.
Again, too specific of a circumstance to use compared to the other shards. The graphic in question, though, was a nice touch (or at least the black shard + fog effect was pretty cool). Just being honest.
