Thanks to MisterLongo for giving me the idea, kind of. Link to original thread: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,948.msg9885#msg9885 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,948.msg9885#msg9885)

So, I said that it would be good if we could have non-hand-held weaponry, or even just permanents that aren't pillars - all of the current weapons are staffs, swords...and a shoe, but whatever.

Costs undecided, possibly all cards are enchanted/protected

DEATH
Bone Thrower - MisterLongo's idea
Cost: 6 Death
Deals 4 damage at the end of each turn.
Ability: Catapult (1 or 2 death)
Sacrifice a creature (or maybe just a skeleton) to deal damage equal to its attack power to your opponent. This ability bypasses shields.

LIFE
Medic's Hut
Ability: Dispense
Heal a creature or player for up to 5 HP. Cannot be used on consecutive turns.

AETHER
Wormhole Generator
Deals 5 damage per turn
Passive Ability: Damages opponent's quanta, unless they have none, when it explodes (think deflagration, etc).
Activatable ability: Overdrive - deal 15 damage next turn, zero the turn after.

FIRE
Blaze of Glory
Deals 0 damage per turn
Ability: Consume - Sacrifice a chosen creature of yours. If the creature's attack is higher than its HP, gain 2 damage/turn. If its HP > attack, gain 1 damage/turn. If HP = attack, gain nothing.
OR
Ablaze - Gain 2 atk for 3 Fire quanta.

That's all I could think of. What about you guys?

EDIT: Typos in Blaze of Glory (see below).
EDIT: Added to Blaze of Glory (Ablaze - Credit to Bloodshadow)

Er... Just so you know, Stiletto is not a shoe, but a type of dagger. Stiletto heel is the shoe.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

lol, but good idea, except for how ridiculously overpowered protected blaze of glory would be with gemfinders (cheap HP>AP)
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Oh. Didn't know that then, do now. Thanks. I'll remember that.

Not really. Gemfinders are HP>atk, so would only raise the power by one point. Which they have themselves. Using gemfinders as fodder would be useless, because they generate earth quanta, so for the +0 total damage, you lose a source of quantum. Actually, thinking about it, it's fairly useless. If you use it on any creature with more than 2 Atk, you lose attack. THe only thing that it would be useful for is immortalising small creatures, and even then only if it is protected.

Quote
If its HP > attack, gain 12 damage/turn.
By this logic, every Gnome Rider or a Dragonfly you sacrifice in there produces 12 more damage for the wepon.

6 Gnome Rider
6 Dragonfly
6 Nova
Some Blaze of Glory
Some Flying Wepon
Some Air and Earth pillars, probably
Fire Mark
Some Momentum

And soon you should get an OVER 100 power weapon with Momentum. And if you somehow an Anubis in there, an ungetridableof OVER 100 power weapon with Momentum.

Pilchard, would you mind clarifying the red text for me? Why would Gemfinders only raise the power by one point when you specifically posted that sacrificing a creature with HP that is greater than it's attack would add twelve points of damage?

Oops...

That was meant to say 1 damage/turn.

I'll fix that now.

Lol, that's what I thought. I assumed it would be a typo, based on your previous posts. ::)

yeah, thought 12 was kind of ridiculous

Personally, I don't think the weapon for Fire should consume things to gain more power. Maybe the Fire weapon should have the Ablaze ability for 3 Fire.

Well, fire consumes to build in nature, so I thought 'why not here?'. Ablaze would be good too, though. It would be more useful.
