Still seems like it would be too easy to permanently lock someone down using this though
Lol, as it was not already easy to lock opponent with a single early Eternity in PVP. If people dont have a way to destroy it, need to go for a KO in 2-3 rounds, which is difficult, usually will be dead before that, and would be nearly impossible if Eternity player has healing.
This shield is intended to be a way to deal with protected creatures. But lets remember it cant rewind creatures with attack smaller than damage reduction. About the others, with a 10% chance the opponent would really need a swarm to be locked in a efective way. And of course, its vulnerable to CC. In fact, I think it will help time more because of damage reduction than rewinding in most games.
SnoWeb, about your ideas, I think the youth idea might work. Buffer could be hard to code, and I didnt like it too much. Trap seems very weak. Some other possible ideas: draw a card if a single source cause more than X damage (like 7), reveal hand of opponent, having a %chance of drawing an extra card at beggining of your turn, or maybe replace the quanta you just used to play the shield. Any ideas about this?
