Please explain, this just confuses me...

If I'm not mistaking, this card does rewind + it doesn't go to the top of the deck but to a random place. OR the third card from your deck get's added to your hand?...

Especially that last sentence from the card description confuses me, why add the third card in a deck to your hand?

Yes its a rewind effect that shuffles the deck OR you can add the third card from your deck to your hand. The effect changes based on what you target. There is no randomness involved.

The last sentence exists to clarify that if you have less than 3 cards in your deck and you target your deck instead of a creature that it won't get a card because there isn't a card there for it to get. I went with third card to try and avoid a generic draw effect.

In my opinion, either drawing the first or the third card from a deck means exactly the same, since there is no telling what that card will be. So that effect is pretty much the same as the regular old hourglass to me.

What remains is a rewind that both costs alot and shuffles a deck, especially that last part seems pretty random/useless to me.

I'm sorry but I just don't like combining two cards that already exists in a new card.

A suffling rewind is probably worth 3-4 :time +1card
Drawing 1 card is worth 0 :time + 1card

Maybe draw 2 cards? (worth estimated at 3-4 :time)

I think drawing 2 cards might be too much draw power. A deck that packs these is essentially 12 cards thinner, and having your deck that consistant seems like it could be disasterous. However, if it is the second ability that isn't liked I'll have to rethink it for sure. Or maybe the solution is to lower the cost.
