It's a joke card.

Napalm is the current master of Fire. Her favourite card is Phoenix.
Jijo is a fairly well known member of the community. His representative card is evidently the devourer.

metamorphosis would, imo, sound too much like the event and would get people confused.

Ill take transformation as a possibility though

joke or not it is an interesting concept just not sure about devourer, and how bout for a name molting? works with pheonix being a bird, symbolizes changing and if ya wanna stretch it, it sounds like molten
