If this could be cast on other creatures, the ability would be very powerful... on itself only, its interesting, but usage may be limited.

Having it fully wipe all poison counters may be a little  too strong if it can target allies though. If it just decreased poison by 1 or added 1 purify counter if already zeroed, it would be pretty balanced.
