Ok so whjat if the shields come into play with a similar to Gravity Pull function on them. Thus pulling all damage through that shield only. ie.

I fly a Bone Wall it has 9 walls on it and has Pull Damage to it. I then put out a second wall. The first wall pulls all the attacks to it, taking the first 9 creatures hits. Then my second wall comes into play.

I fly a Diamond Shield and play a Dusk Mantle. My Diamond Shield has Pull in it so all attacks are filtered through that shield but ignore the second shield as my Diamond Shield is in play. If my Diamond Shield is destroyed then I get the benefit of my Dusk Mantle.

Ok so the idea behind this is to be able to have more than one sheild out but not have them stack. Another thing to note is that the order of SHield Pull works in the order of Flown Shields just as creatures attack in order of 1st, 2nd etc. So if I fly a Diamond Shield then a Bone Wall everything goes through the Diamond Shield leaving the Bone Wall alone (as a side note Bone Walls Hp shoould be equal to number of walls on it)

I have been thinking of a flying shield effect for literally the past month or so, ever since the first card idea competition. With all of the new, powerful shield effects, I believe something like this would be just plain overpowered. However, I did come up with one way to make it work. When you fly the shield, it becomes a creature and your shield spot becomes free. The creature version would hold the ability, but the ability would be applied to the shield slot. So basically, a flying shield would "add" its inherent ability to your shield, stacking effects onto one shield. Of course, this is still quite complicated, but at least it's simple to understand.

I was hoping that if you increased the cost, it would be a lot less OP. :'(

Well, I would make a flying Hope/Glory deck with 6 RoL and Miracle. I'm pretty sure nothing outside of mono Gravity would be able to beat it, save deckout.

Hmm maybe but a Darkness steal deck would be able to damage it considerably. Just depends on the mechanic.

Those the shield ability still activate when no shield is present or just stack if there is a shield in play?
