Sorry, i have no photo editing software so i cant make a card, but what would you guys think if we had a card called animate shield, costing 6 earth quanta? Instead of having a stronger offense with animate weapon, you make a solid defense with animate shield. I made the cost pretty high because i didn't want the card to be too OP. If it costs zero quanta like animate weapon does, then you could just keep on stacking hopes, gravity shields, jade shields, etc. and you would almost be invincible. I put it on 6 :earth to slow it down. What does everyone think? Discuss.

Hmm nice idea could be fun with 6 Bone Walls in play and 1 in hand by the time it breaks through the others you're home and hosed.

I would use it as it allows me to steal a shield, put it out and keep my Dusk Mantle in play.

One thing though is going to be developing Stats for each shield. Personally Bone Wall, Dissapation, Fire should be fairly low Hp but Gravity, Fog, Dusk be higher and the others in the middle except for Hope which should be 1 Hp..

I Think certian shields like Thorn Shield should have 1-2 Attack but Low health.

I thought about this before as well.  I didn't like the idea of shields stacking as a defense.  What could someone do if they stacked emerald shields?  They are immortal, and in my mind most shields couldn't attack, so they really couldn't be killed.  My thought was if you animated a shield, it would protect your creatures.  So say if you animated a dimensional shield, your creatures would gain quintessence for 3 turns.  Or if you animated a dissipation shield, if something would damage a creature, it would damage quanta instead. 
That being said, I had no ideas when it came to shields such as the gravity shield.  But I do like the concept of an animate shield card, just not sure what it should be like.

You would have to have a lot of quanta to be stacking emerald shields enough to stop the enemy when Animate Shield costs 6 :earth

That would be a BIG waste of a shield and quanta to just protect one creature when you could just use quintessence.

Ehh? 6 flying diamond shields and the victory is now a walk in the park. IMO, Flying shields are REALLY OP.

Personally I like the idea of flying shields but they should have like 2-3 hp and come into play with a poison counter on them so they die off after a while.

I know the coding would be difficult to implement espicially if you have more than 1 type of shield in play.

Still could be a useful card if developed correctly.

It wouldn't be a shield then. It would be a creature with some high defense and some ability that wouldn't work, unless the coding were to be changed that all creature's attacks have to filter through that shield-creature first.

xdude, that would cost 78 :earth, which is alot... plus, those shields could be destroyed by otyughs, plagues, lightnings, etc.

It would have low defense though... and I see your point on the ability, but i was hoping that you could change the coding of the game to make it work.  :-[
