I'd like to make it poison, maybe, or some other thing. The infection IS kind of meh

We already have enough things that poison though. I think they're balanced as is, though very uninteresting.

i recommend the ability giving a creature 2 poison damage rather than just one,
but from what ive seen in your series, every single snake has the same ability, it seems so uncreative, and technically its another "scorpion" series with all poison effects. try to give them more unique abilities.

What about if it lost 1 hp each time it used "Wrap"? It's much better that way, because it'd become easier and easier to kill.

Reduce the casting cost to 2 to balance the new version.

perhaps, make snake unable to attack while wrapping a creature. Also give it 0 Unwrap.

Maybe make it so the creature the snake is wrapped around can't attack or have the snake able to attack the creature its wrapped around.
