Well Anglerfish is meant to be weak, to sort of power Massive Anglerfish. Anglerfish is kind of like an upgraded Dragonfly. It makes light for the Massive Anglerfish to use in its constant upkeep.

I updated the cards however, making the constant upkeep easier to understand.
Shouldn't nature work the other way round, as in the Massive Anglerfish ought to take care of Anglerfish (plural)? Nvm that's not my main point.

Anyway, I concur with putting it out of fractal range, because I don't need all my massive Anglerfish to survive. Can always just feed only half of them and use the rest as...improved Ball Lightning. Honestly when I saw the name of this thread I was thinking isn't anglerfish the one that lives in the Amazon and hunts insects above the water by shooting a stream of water at them...and I was expecting a sniper ability, but obviously you weren't intending it that way. Interesting card, especially the concept of synergy between upped and unupped, but needs balancing.

I don't want to make the cost of the Massive Anglerfish too high because of its upkeep. There haven't been any cards that require uptake in Elements (unless you count creatures that grow and are poisoned for 2...). I changed it so it uses up all  :water quanta. Hmm... Maybe I could do something of this sort:

" :light :light Feed: Feed the Massive Anglerfish to keep him satisfied.

If Massive Anglerfish is not fed, he will move to your opponent's side of the field."

That way, people will want to feed him.

So what do you guys think is better? Should Massive Anglerfish use up all the  :water quanta or should he move to the opponent's side of the field if not fed?

Btw this is a picture of an anglerfish from a movie you've probably all seen ;).

I also modified the poll.
