Long ago, these machinations used to be all powerful tools of war.
But with the technology lost to time, they can no longer be activated. Now they simply stand unmoving, a shadow of their former glory.

But who knows? Perhaps you can still find some use for it.

The only use I see for this is chimera.
6 ancient destroyers + 1 chimera = 7 cards + 25 for a 78|78

That or 1 ancient destroyer and 1 chimera = 2 cards + 10 for a 13|13

2 ancient destroyers and 1 chimera = 3 cards + 13 for a 26|26

Could see some use in a chimera and/or catapult deck (though armagios are superior in the latter). Otherwise I dont see much use except baiting newbies/dumb AI into wasting CC.

You are right. This card seems like a forced combo with chimera. There are better cards making use of high hp, so the only use for this is with chimera. Assume that this gets into the game though, is it balanced?

At least 3 distinct balanced combos are required before I would call something balanced

Had this been an active skill, it could've been:
1) Chimera
2) Lobotomizer/Mind Flayer
3) Liquid Shadow

Conclusion : Skill should be active (lobotomizable) if the idea's going to be developed further.

Chimera/Gpull/Catapult.  Three combos, not balanced though.

Fractal, bonds, mitosis, luciferase/hope. For 3 quanta it can be moulded easily to existing combos

Fractal and Mitosis get no use out of a creature that can't attack and has no utility ability
Bonds and Luciferase/hope prefer cheaper creatures or creatures that can attack.
