If the cost of a card is 3 , then it will be 6 when Anchored. If target card is discarded, the player is then free to play all cards in hand, unless Silenced. Seems like this card would be OP with Nightmare since you can give your opponent cards they can never play. I like the general concept, but it needs to be worked out a bit.

Possible solutions: Lasts only 2 turns? Automatically targets only the top card (which makes Nightmare synergy much more difficult)?

1. Can this be used as a pseudo-precognition to see their hand? That would be cool.
2. Casting this is a long term controllable Silence until you play another copy? That last bit is confusing.

I like the idea, but I definitely think it would be better controlled if changed to automatically affect the top card of the opponent's hand, as was suggested by mesaprotector. If the card is changed to target the top card of opponent's deck, I would also suggest a price decrease to 3|2, because it could strike a pillar or pendulum or other zero-cost card.

If used with Nightmare, they can choose to discard targeted card, so maybe...

I do like this concept, though it took me a while to realise what it meant.
I suggest instead of 'They may not play any card until this card is played', you use "They may not play any card until the target is played'.
Nice idea though! It'd be the third HC card in the game, unless you count precog as HC, which I don't.

Hah! I literally thought of the fact that if they have a full hand that they could discard the Anchored card in order to remove the effect before I even saw your comment Drake! It's good that we think alike I guess!

Yes, thank you Annele. Sometimes my wording can be a little obscure. I'll make those changes.

Anyway, with this new, semi-obvious clause it should make Nightmare less of a worry and allow us to promote the synergies with denial with specially mention to Precognition. And no, when a card is targeted in hand it will not be revealed to you.
