Throwing this out there before going to bed.  I'm not sure of the proper elements for this however; Life has a growth creature already and Darkness has a denial creature already.  I can see Gravity fitting in as well, but I'm not sure whether it would be better as the cost of the card or the cost of the ability.

Gravity definitely needs more buffs, but as for the cost, I'd say it should be the cost of the ability, as it brings to mind Devour. Besides, Mitosis uses :life so a life-gravity duo would require this to cost :gravity so as not to interfere as much. Not that it should matter since life costs very little.
