So Aether is only about the movement of things from dimension to dimension and the control/cause of such movement?
You have demonstrated that this theme can go a long way. You have convinced me. Thank you for your instruction.

Hive Mind

A :life creature of 0|5(or more) with relatively high cost with ability called synapse :aether : All insects you control gain +1|+1 until start of your next turn.

Would that do the synergy?
Why would Aether care about insects vs non insects?
Why would Aether cause a temporary mass buff?

@ Pinocchio
I am unsure what a wooden puppet has to do with Aether.
However the ability is an interesting one to say the least.
It seems to be an unbalanced Fiery like skill.

@ The giving Tree
That is one complex card. It falls just short of the Kael card classification.
How does a Tree protect your HP? Why is that associated with Aether?

Alright, well, I'll simplify it.

As long as it is in play, your life total can't change.

It's literally phase shield in creature form, with the added bonus of also reflecting damage.  The only way to possibly beat your opponent is to deck them or kill the creature.  Which is why I made it easier to kill it by making it targetable by steal/deflag/pulvie/butterfly, and made it so it couldn't be quinted.  The general concept, "your life total can't change", needed a few combo specific rule changes in order to not be broken.

Good point. The weakness to PC is important to the balance. It needs the complexity for the sake of balance and thus is not akin to a Kael card.

However thematically how does a tree prevent your life total from changing?

The reason this is part life is because Life is what aether effects (2 of the 3 aether mechanics go here.) Life prays for immortality, and is Quinted. In this case, Life (people) pray to the Aether Elemental for help, and the prayer is answered.
As for something that puts Aether's mechanics under the same roof, i think 'Ruler' of Change fits. Electricity changes the state of being (lobo removes). Immortality prevents further change. Card generation provides access to future change. Overall there's stopping and adding changes. None of the other elements control change to this degree.

To OldTrees. This is not Pinocchio itself, so it's NOT a wooden puppet. Think of it this way, there was once a doll loved by its owner dearly. The owner took great care of him and loved him just like a real son. But, one day, the owner was killed by an elemental creature. The doll thought, "Only if I was a real boy, I could have protected him." The doll was burnt together with the owner's body. As the smoke ascended and reached aetherial domain, a miracle happened. The aetheric energy blended with the smoke began taking a shape of the doll. Pinocchio 2.0 was born. His wish still remains, "Only if I was a real boy...." He also joins the fight because he wants to find the creature that killed his owner.

As people surveyed the insects such as ant colonies and bee hives, they wondered how they were so organized, and suspected there were some sort of hive mind behind it all. Of course we now know better the function behind it all, but the legend of the "Hive Mind" have lived on and how it communicated and controlled the members of it's hive by some incorporeal means, telepathy or psychic perhaps.
SERIES:
The telepathy part is of Aether isn't it? And most usually the Creature behind the Hive Mind is some lumbering hulk, needing others to defend itself, so it could suit to either Earth or Life, Life beign the stronger candinate IMO.

Also, as there are incestoids in nearly every element, it would be rather strong of a buffer to rainbow decks based on insect rushes.

@Kartsa: irrelevant, cuz crystal flower/tree doesn't heal the enemy ^-^

also:
":Life" should be a lowercase "L"
"...legend of the Hive mind have lived on..." should be "has"
"...and how it communicated...the members..." should be "communicated to...the members"
upped text cannot possibly fit on a card
"...would be a rather strong buffer to decks based on insect rushes." "insect" is currently not an existing passive, there are very little "insect rushes" because there are few high atk/low cost insects other than (off the top of my head) a wings "rush", and a card that costs 6/7 :life and THEN takes a turn to just give +1/+2 attack to all creatures shouldn't be in a rush. The only time i would see it being useful is in a fractal-recluse deck, but recluse already has eclipse.

So, we have 3 scorps, but only one druid? (and one stave) Well, now let's add one more to the list  :D I don't know what drawbacks could have the cost or the atk/hp of it, but I guess the idea is what matters.
The cost of the skill doesn't matter, it can be an automatic skill. It's still an  :aether/ :life synergiser because  :aether is the element of immortals and  :life is the element of creature spamming.
It's my rough idea of an  :aether/ :life synergizer, and sounds great for an  :aether/ :life supah stall :D
