it sounds like a 2 year old wrote that sentence... it makes no sense whatsoever and is very unclear, are you saying you pay  to get rid of all the monster on the field with equal health? equal attack?

OMG, I thought it was clear...

I explain...

You target a creature, paying  and this creature receives 1 damage. If there are other creatures equal to targeted creature, they receive 1 damage too.

An example

Me vs You.

I have 3 phoenix and 3 lava golem down. You play this ability and you target a phoenix. All phoenix receive 1 damage.

your explanation clarified little

those two sets of monsters both have the same hp, so are you saying it targets monsters of the same attack? if so would it also take out an upped lava golem, you just saying equal doesn't mean anything. you have to elaborate my 3 year old friend

Spike Spiegel Although a fail of a card has a good idea.  If I was to attack an Elf Druid it would attack all Elf Druids.  If I was to attack a ray of light it would attack all rays of light.

I found two more problems.

1. does upgrade distinguish creatures? e.g. if the ability is used on a fallen druid, are fallen elves damaged as well?
 What about creatures such as Pharaoh, that have the same name upgraded or not?

2. does the ability damage my own creatures as well as my opponents' creatures?

It was my understanding it attacked all creatures (yours too) and it would attack pharaoh (unuppped) and pharaoh (upped) but not fallen elf and fallen druid

First, it's just an idea...

However...

1) If there are unupped and upped creatures at the same time with the same name and you select an unupped one, only unupped creatures are damaged.

2) Yes, all, yours and the opponent's creatures.

This does give me an idea for a great card.... The Owner Special Ability:  Mind Control: Make your opponents creatures fight for you
