What does a creature have to do with Morality?
Why do you think your shard holds to the Virtue  of Morality?
I believe that the intention to inflict pain upon others is immoral, and immoral people should be punished. Thus, if your opponent hurts you, s/he is punished by having his/her HP reduced; if you hurt your opponent (making your HP higher than his/hers), then you are punished by having your Shard destroyed. This is a personal belief of mine, so please don't try to use the dictionary to correct me.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.
