NAME:
Shard
ELEMENT:
Other
COST:
1
TYPE:
Spell
ABILITY:
It looks like a crystal shard. It seems to be useless, but it might be upgradable.
NAME:
Shard of Moderation
ELEMENT:
Other
COST:
3
TYPE:
Spell
ABILITY:
Your creatures' attacks are reduced to 0. You heal HP equal to the amount of attack reduced.
ART:
Zanzarino + Scaredgirl (sitting under a tree...)
IDEA:
Guolin
NOTES:
Let's say you have 3 Lava Golems out on the field, each at 11|7. You use this shard, healing 33 hp and reducing all Golems to 0|7. Next turn, however, you can still use Growth on them all. This may be slightly UP, though, so please comment!
SERIES:
For the Shard Madness Competition.

Funny that you've done a shard about being moderated :P

It seems to me that this would only work in decks with growth creatures- no one would ever use it without something like Lava Golems or Forest Spirits.

You could put a limit on it- say 3 attack off on all creatures and the following healing. Or it could be like an offensive black hole, on the enemy's attack. Nice base idea though

@First paragraph: Shaddup. :P This card is based off of moderation of alchohol - you get health benefits off it, too.

Making it target one creature may work better - this would allow you to still do damage while enabling an EM or a last resort heal. Also, it would make it less powerful than a Heal in most cases, but it costs random quanta, so it should work. (All Shards should be like this :/)

CURATOR COMMENT
This Card is Crucible Approved for the Shard Madness! Competition.
Edits of this card after this post may Void Approval.*

* = Warning: For practical purposes and potential future reasons, do not delete sections of the table when making a card idea. You may ruin your card formatting if you're not careful with the editing process.

How does this work with cards that have negative amounts of attack? Would you be theoretically 'damaged' based on negative-attack valued creatures (since you're raising their stats to zero...)? I sort of like it, but it seems to be very limited in the sense that once you use it, your creatures on the field are dead weight (literally), and won't help you win the battle unless you have mechanics to boost their attack back up again (buffs, growth/ablaze abilities, etc.).  :-\

it can be used as a kind of momentum for random quanta, so its not that bad
