Shard | Shard of Loyalty

When I personally think of a theme such as 'Loyalty', it usually comes hand-in-hand to the word, Betrayal. In a sense, Loyalty is a measure of how devoted someone or something is to another being, and in this sense, a Shard of Loyalty implies that a creature would never 'switch sides' in the midst of battle, rather than not dying (running away to your deck) when it was on the brink of death.

I suppose Loyalty would better represent something that 'counters' Steal or other similar cards that try to take things that belong to you, but that's just my concept...

the effect on death will not be triggered, instead the creature will go back to your deck.
in short, it's not a good idea to use this shard to phoenix

it will go back in your hand. however, it will not trigger any death effect.

edit: on a second thought, if sacrifice is programmed to gain quanta after death effect, then no quanta should be obtained when immolation/cremation on creatures with Shard of Loyalty. maybe i'm thinking too much here
