It looks like a crystal shard. It seems to be useless, but it might be upgradable.
NAME:
Shard of Justice
ELEMENT:
Other
COST:
5
TYPE:
Permanent
ATK|HP:
-
ABILITY:
The next creature on your side killed by the enemy, takes a random enemy creature with it. Single use
ART:
Zanz
IDEA:

NOTES:
THIS IS SINGLE USE. ONCE A CREATURE HAS BEEN KILLED AND ANOTHER CREATURE TAKEN DOWN WITH IT, THE CARD WILL DISAPPEAR
Once the effect has been used- i.e a creature has been killed and has taken another creature with it- the shard disappears
Think the idea of Justice works well- an eye for an eye, just like in the good old days. Could be a bit OP'd, but then maybe the chaos of it could be a good thing

I think a photon immolation deck would benefit FAR too much from this (or a phoenix immolation deck).
Also: virus etc.?

I would make it the next creature to die during your opponent's turn. That way, it's only revenge (though it rules out shield effects and poison again, also not perfect).
Maybe it should be killed (not sacrificed)?

Goes very well in a death deck

I meant it to be a one off - it only works for one death. Guess that didn't come through in the description.

I'll have a think about your suggestion. Thanks for the feedback

CURATOR COMMENT
This Card is Crucible Approved for the Shard Madness! Competition.
Edits of this card after this post may Void Approval.

I find this shard potentially overpowered, as Fire Shield and Thorn Carapace would mean that even your immortalized creatures would still take your opponent's creatures down upon death. This would also work extremely well with voodoo dolls and gravity pull - you redirect their damage to your doll, hurting themselves, and then when the doll dies, one of their creatures dies - rinse and repeat.  :o

It's a once only though, so 6 shards for 6 revenge kills. So it isn't *that* OP surely?

Could I use it with Spark to kill off far more expensive targets?
Does it have a chance of getting Immortal or Burrowed Creatures?
If there is no valid target will the shard be used without effect, ie there is no target to take revenge on?

Well the effect is random, so yes, it should be able to take down a more expensive target.
As burrowed and immaterial are untargetable I'd say that it wouldn't affect Immaterials
And, to the last one, yes, I think so.

Thank you- I hadn't considered these
