A personal suggestion I would make to this card is to actually add a 'purify' counter to each creature on the field, thus negating the effect of plagues/creature poisoning, and also acting as a 'passive' regeneration option for those who don't have guardian angels on the field, and then removing your HP in accordance to the number of creatures that are affected by the shard.
Of course, this actually counters Rage Potions quite nicely...
