Note: I am a noob at balancing cards. I go with what feels right to me.
Aaaah, I like this one sooooooooooooo much better than my originial attempt (below). Ultimately I wanted to capture the other side of Fire that Phoenix started to grasp at, the rebirthing and healing powers that it can have. Zanzarino stated that he wanted these elemental shards to stack like pillars, so I added the minor healing boost to them, which would then stack with the number of shards in play at the time. But, to counteract that healing, there is a sacrificial ability that can be quite powerful. "reborn" simply means that the card is returned to it's original state. Attack, Health, and Statuses are all reverted to how the card comes into play, basically turning the creature into a daughter creature. However, to make this elemental, Fire creatures retain positive effects. This means, if current attack is higher than base attack, it is not changed. Same goes for health. Negative statuses such as poison, freeze, delay, etc. are also removed. It is a very powerful 1 time effect that I think fits into Fire quite well. What do you think?

I tried to make this fit my interpretation of how Zanzarino wants these shards to turn out. He said he wanted them to stack like pillars and that each would heavily favor a specific element. How this works is, If a creature is played, let's say Minor Phoenix, as long as you have twice the quanta, or 4
, a second one is played without using a card. It's kind of a card advantage kind of thing. Going on the stackable idea, more would be played for increasing costs but I haven't really worked out how I want that to work yet. While you'd have to have the shards en masse, it you could play Fractix without Fractal with these if you just go up to 7 played for 7x the cost, which is wierd. The +1 def bonus is more of a reason not to decrease cost than anything else, something else could probably fit better there, but I probably can't fit it on the card, so I just went with that. Stacking for that would also increase the bonus as more were played, up to a maximum of +0/+3 more than likely. No reason to make Minor Phoenixes Ragable, though that would be fun
