If you target a Golden Hourglass, the Hourglass loses it's ability (like it was lobotomized). Then the SoDe gains the Hasten ability that costs :darkness :darkness
If you target a creature it will still gain the ability, although it's ability might not work for a Permanent. But at least you can still lobo the creature (for the upped version).
You can only take activated abilities. For instance, if you target a stack of pillars, then you create a permanent that has no ability. Non-activated abilities like Momentum are not affected either. In this way, it makes it different from Steal, since you can't technically 'target' everything.
Remember too that shards will stack, which means you can't just duplicate a card and spam with it. If you use this card when another one is already out, it will overlay the old one.

EDIT1: Changed card's base element. Now Other. Used to be :air Air.
EDIT2: Added unupgraded version. Almost didn't catch the rule change. Thank god.
EDIT3: Changed the card to be a stackable permanent to reach more appropriate Shard power levels. Currently may be overpowered. May increase card cost later on.

Liquid Shadow is frequently used on enemy creatures. This card synergizes with and encourages the use of Liquid Shadow on your own creatures, as well as encouraging the use of Cloak as an alternative to Quintessence.

Cloaking, of course, is why the name Modesty was chosen. The permanent sticks around and heals your creatures when other cloak effects are in place.

This card goes with Darkness's theme of "draining health" or "dealing damage to heal" - it doesn't directly heal you like a SoD does, but it keeps LS'd creatures alive to heal you when they work under the cover of darkness.

Purify is the counter to player poison. You could call this card a counter to creature poison, though it requires intelligent use for greatest benefit.

I see that all people add notes, so I also want to write something ;)
This card has got fantastic synergy with Flooding. It also promote "airborne" skill and "web" ability. So we have 3 important buffs in 1 card. Air and Water are good duo.
Adding PC is a special bonus for Air, which haven't got this type of card. I wrote "3/2 Wind Towers" (and Pendelums of course), but it can be of course changing into "Air creatures" or maybe "airborne creatures" ;)
