about
element= time is the element with more ways to """interact""" with the deck or the hand (reverse time, eternity, hourglass, indirectly gotp); there are something like 157k species of lepidoptera, probably one of them will fit in
in any case, so don't bother too much about the element
unupped lepidoptera: u know when u are playing 500 hp decks or some fg grinder that wins by deckout, and u draw the creature to rewind with eternity in the in the initial hand and u wanna throw your pc because u start with a card disadvantage? use lepidoptera (and for safeness, u don't need to play 2 eternity or one reverse time!!!!). if more copies of lepi are in the deck, the second one will be the second last in the deck, etc. big decks deserve more love, even if it doesn't have any sense outside deckout decks, the game is full of UP cards that have no sense.
upped lepidoptera: pretty much the counterpart of the unupped one: the first works in fat decks, the second one works in rush decks. if u draw it in the initial hand, think about the oracle's pet: it automatically enters in the game (in a normal creature slot), and another card is drawed: if u draw 3 lepi in the initial hand, only one enters in play and only one card is drawed.
about the card theme: insects fly where they want, they can sit in the same place for a night or they can decide to fly over your face when u are sleeping, these two cards do the same, not following the draw order like other cards do.
about the name: seems like a lot of biologist love to add in the insects' name the letters S, P and W.
