TEXT:
All creatures turn into Deja Vus. Equalizer: player
with more HP gets reduced to its opponent's HP
amount.

ART:
Consumerism & Uniformity *
IDEA:
My first idea was some really destructive, probably the most destructive event in a Universe, but
instead of that I had a better idea today. Maybe because I was away for a few days in a village
and coming back was a bit rough, watching the endless parade of people going to Sziget Festival...
NOTES:
Chose Gravity, since Gravity "holds objects together ", like these obnoxious phenomena
which kinda hold society together... I admit the first one seems chaotic, more entropy-oriented,
but the card must have an effect on all creatures, like real life consumerism. The user of the
card can act first after the effects hit in. (Of course, creatures without skill gets these skills!)

About Uniformity. Maybe the Deja Vus created by it should run on "other quanta" to
make Gravity decks stay mono and make other decks' life easier. Upgraded creatures turn
into Elite Deja Vus. Equalizing means the player with more HP will lose HP, and not the other
way around. The effect is instantaneous and disregards SoSac. You can build a tactic around
this card, like waiting until your opponent damages you badly (e.g. down to 30 HP), then applying this
card. This way you instantly gain the lead since his creatures turn almost useless, plus his/her
HP will be as yours. At this moment you can play out your spared creatures and give him/her
the coup de grâce.

Thematic was first as always but I think it isn't bad gameplay-wise either.

What are the costs and of what elements are the costs of the abilities?

Could you explain more on the "equalizer" effect? I don't quite understand it as it is. Does the player with the least HP's get his HP's restored to the same level as the opponent's?

Guess my English isn't good enough because I tried multiple ways to redefine it within
the character limit... without success. Maybe I should drop the "Equalizer:" statement,
but sounds so cool.
Redefined the card...

Any other feedback is warmly welcomed!

The unupgraded feels like an entropy card with its random effects. I would limit it to one ability or change the element.

I would simplify the effect of the upgraded card.

Yes, it is a usual reaction. People addicted to consumerism sometimes devour, sometimes just rushing through everything mindlessly
or binge doing things wasting themselves... and since these skills are linked with Gravity I choose the Gravity mark.

Quote
I would simplify the effect of the upgraded card.

Don't know how to do that... I find it equally important both effects: uniformization not just standardizing people but
encouraging them to do that with others as well... that's why I chose the Deja Vu as a creature, it can multiply.

The other effect... if you reach higher the mass will try to drag you down...

I know, I'm explaining the philosophy behind it and not the mechanism. :)

Its just way to whacky for me; unupped is completely different from upped and all of them have symmetrical effects that can go way out of whack.
for unupped youd proably want to get voodoodolls or armagios with devour (!!!), accel aint too big a whiff i guess, which is far too swingy. Also momentum is odd as it doesnt actually remove a skill and is also far weaker than the other effects. the fact you give one of these to every opponents creature also gets out of control, though this time its the mass accel you are most afraid off, while devour probably just replaces a more annoying ability (since your opponent may not have gravity and you probably have higher hp cards). Also its cost used to be way too high

For upped its in part essentially a fieldwipe (assuming a 2 dr shield), which is already really potent in stall (not much use elsewhere), but I think its the harder to evaluate part that actually will see more use. Just let your opponent almost kill you (never bother dealing dmg) and then otk them (with like 2 ugs or so). Its too much power for a single card imo, though I guess that was kinda the point of this comp.

And yh the gravity flavour is minimal.

Changed the first card a bit, made it spicier. Yep, devour and acceleration for everyone! "Must consume to
stay alive..." fits the sociological stuff perfectly!

Not a big deal that the opponent's creatures also get acceleration, since you will probably arrive to the party with Armagios...
so you just eat up every dangerous enemy critter...

Also, if you look at the card both gameplay-wise and both thematic-wise, the gravity element is very strong.

Devour and acceleration are both active abilities (meaning they appear underneath the creature card and can be lobotomised), so with the current mechanics of the game, a creature can't have both at the same time.

Momentum is also an active and can coexist with other actives, maybe it's supposed to work similarly? As in, have accel act like momentum and devour to show below the creature.
