Alchemy is the art of equivalent exchange -- transforming one element into another. The alchemist's dream is to create the Philosopher's Stone -- a material that can turn lead into gold. The Philosopher's Stone was thought to be composed of mercury, also known as quicksilver. Quicksilver Goblet and Quicksilver Chalice are meant to enable multi-element strategies without the messiness of using multiple types of quanta production sources, hence decreasing the chances of drawing the wrong type of Pillar or Pendulum in decks utilizing 3 or more elements. Unlike Pillars and Pendulums, these cards do not stack on top of each other, as Quicksilver Chalice's ability needs to be activated individually (once per turn), and there is a unique identifier for the elemental quanta a Quicksilver Goblet is producing. Maybe somehow hard to implement since there isn't atm anything in the system to select a certain quantum type/slot in mana pool.


Just one thing about the lore of the card... FMA let's u think alchemy is about equivalent exchange.
In reality it was more gnoseologic than phisycal: the lead that become gold is actually the man and is mind that get to a superior and mystical state (that of a golden man). The philosopher's stone had also to be a panacea (meaning it could heal all the ill thoughts, and give knowledge about how to heal the physical ones) and the long life elixir (cause a man of gold is remembered forever)... but actually alchemist sometimes drank quicksilver or gave it to drink to their king... causing the opposite effect of a long life elixir.

A simple targeting cursor over the quanta pools (the same type that appears over creatures or permanents when a spell or ability requires a target) would suffice.

I guess the target on the quanta pool would be the simplest and best choice
