ART: Essence IDEA: Essence NOTES: 'Distillation' removes half of the quanta from the affected quanta pool.  The created creature is always named "Essential", and has the same elemental type as the targeted quanta pool.  Yes, it's possible to target your opponent's quanta pools. SERIES:

I'm guessing so as well. Essence appears to work on BOTH player's quanta pools however... >.>

Probably would be too powerful if you can target your opponent's quanta pools; Not against a real person, but against FGs. It's a relatively cheap card, all you need to really do is stall and have a secured win. Even if stalling eats up essential time in one's life. But, it might be too situational for that to happen. Other than that, I like it.

Fix'd.  Also, it is intended to be able to target any quanta pool, even your opponent's.

Interesting idea. A sort of 50% black hole for mono decks that summons a creature.

If I were to change this, I would make it N/5, rather than N/10. This gives it more offensive potential (could imagine a deck based on stalls then spam Essence), and it also gives an interesting penalty when used on opponent's pools.
