This + protect artifact is basically an automatic win isn't it?  It's not hard to keep playing pillars to fuel it, and your creatures get to attack while the opponent's don't.

You can't target PA'd permanents.


I like the idea, not sure if I like how cheap it is though. A reusable permanent with an effect stronger than Sundial is pretty powerful, even with the sacrificing of pillars/pends.

PA on the gravity temple/clocktower. Pillars/pends can be sacrificed as they are played, and mark will generate enough for upkeep.
