NOTES:
Yes, "Click to remove" is seriously the upgrade.
The amount of control that gives you is so helpful.

One of my strongest opinions on the balance of this game is that life's strategy is completely and utterly not supported at all.

Life stall is the exact opposite of the fire stall.
Fire stall is a very "aggressive stall", or it kills everything you attempt to play.
Life stall is a very "passive stall", or it overcomes everything you attempt to play.

Fire kills everything. Life overcomes everything. That means that life shouldn't really get things that injure or kill the opponent's creatures, because that goes against what its stall is.

With that in mind, this is what this card does - It gives you the tools you need to survive a storm of damage, but it also helps your opponent give you that storm of damage.
Some ideas include monolife rushes, monolife stalls, life stalls, and fire-life deckouts.

So that -1 cost isn't part of the upgrade?

That's also part of the upgrade, but the click to remove is seriously worth more than that.

More ideas include: OTKs.

We need a young Chap to see this card.

This is borderline useless in a lifestall. The idea behind a lifestall is to heal more than the enemy can deal damage, right? The failure of the lifestall is that once damage exceeds 100, it is doomed. This potentially allows you to heal more, but the increased potential of the enemy to use this to deal more damage is generally greater than your increased potential to heal. And, once that damage reaches 100...
Monolife rush I can see the potential for, but I would still rather have straight up adrenafrogs.

Funnily enough, the deck I see the most potential for with this is a firestall. Firestall has no problem killing whatever extra creatures this draws, heal is irrelevant because stall, and upgraded mark means Fahrenheit/Firebolt craaazy strong. 10 heal isn't much when 75 quanta Fahrenheit does 20 damage a turn, and then firebolt OTK becomes easy. Many firestalls splash in light for healing. They can splash this in instead.

Its also powerful, but so double edged it deserves a cost reduction.

So what stops a life stall from throwing in light for extra max HP? In fact its even easier to do then a fire/light deck. With this card, you could have light mark granting you a SoD every turn.

Very true, Crockett.
I'd even argue the miracles could be played by Festivity alone.

Anyway, two things to point out:
1) This card stacks. You will deck out a 30 card deck like mad. The enemy can play less cards, but so can you.
2) The card originally costed 5 | 4 :life, but it stacks, and one can really completely change how the game is played, meaning I raised it.

Also, not many things actually do exceed 100 damage, and certainly not well enough to deal with this kind of deckout whilst effectively killing the enemy.

...You have a very good point there.

Also a very good point. Consider most of my objections rescinded. I would still prefer a cost reduction though, perhaps to 6|5?

I can try a cost reduction of 6 | 6, with the sole upgrade being "Click to remove".
But I really don't want to go lower than that.

Click to remove is actually a better upgrade than reduced cost.
