I say it's a tad expensive.
Comparing it to say, Nightfall, I would make it maybe 5/4.
Or maybe even 4/3.

Well, a deck like this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12050.msg160126.html) might be a tad OP if it was lowered that much.

I wouldn't compare the cost with nightfall/eclipse because this permanent would have a much bigger effect. Not only the damage from the scorpions will be affected but also the chance to inflict poison damage to the opponent. So in my opinion the cost shouldn't be lowred.

The added expense is nothing as you could stay a mono with this card.
