NOTES:
Clean and simple. Reusable buff card for mono life. An arrow to their bows to be sure, a new buff card for the game - which is nice - and reliable too.

This is my entry for the Mythological Card Design Competition, and this is the link to the wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskelion).
SERIES:
-
Concerning the choice as the Triskell - or Triskele, or Triskellion - as mythological subject: the whole Celtic tradition is definitely mythological. The fact that druids existed doesn't change the fact that their "magical powers" were in fact just another kind of religious power, and that around their traditions many a legend were born. The Triskell was the symbol that the Celts used the most in their decorations, mostly because it was the symbol of their chief god and of the sun, and was used both as a generic religious symbol - much as the cross for Cristians - and as a good luck charm.
This symbol is now interpreted and used as a generic symbol for the whole Celtic mythology and culture, and thus I think it fits the theme of the competition. I could handily rename it Stonehenge or Druidic Circle in a pinch, but I think the Triskell has deserved its place in mythological culture as much as many other symbols.

Agreed, 2 for ability cost would be fine. Continuous buffing is strong, and a new perm for Life seems perfect. I like it.

I would like to see it have a cheaper ability cost, and with a timer (similar to Cloak), and can be used X times per turn.  Maybe that doesn't fit as well with what you intended, but I think it would strike a good balance between being OP and UP.  It would give life even more "growth", but would also limit a player from simply spamming these out once enough 100 life quanta was accumulated.

My suggested changes aside, I like this due to the fact that it give mono life a soft counter to shields and CC, both, which fits perfectly thematically.  Overall, I really like the idea, Morm.

First, this is a permanent with an ability, so on the best case you're using this 6 times per turn, for a cost of 18 or 12 :life - depends if somebody makes a good argument against the cost decrease soon.
I think this is thematically appropriate because - as you point out - life is growth. And I think it would be a very nice addition to the game - reusable buff makes a very strong synergy with - say - oty or scorpions or even Blights.

I know I'm going for one very specific, very fragile combo, but I'm gonna do it nonetheless.  Imagine this, RoL, Leaf Dragons, and Adren/Epi in the same deck.  Of course, that could be the point.  Small creatures getting huge.  The more I think about it, the more I want this card....  Please ignore what I said before ;)

Btw, not-so-epic 200th post.

Just letting you know now, you might want to re-read the competition rules.

Other than that, it looks like a nice card, though I am on the fence about whether this fits under the mythology concept.

Yeah, I think I want too.

I'm gonna post this in Crucible directly if it can't compete. I like the idea.

I modified the card as suggested. The ability now costs 2 :life. I'm submitting this to the Competition now.
