NOTES:
A phylactery is, in mythology/fantasy, an object that a lich would seal his soul inside of, making him truly undead, and virtually unkillable. The card does something similar: You give up a creature in exchange for power, but lose your link to the living world, making you unable to play creatures. Instead, you have to use spells such as Nymph's Tears or Permanents such as Graveyard to get creatures, which as a result of your new power are much stronger. The effects are a persistent field buff, like Nightfall/Eclipse but only for your creatures. They do stack.

Effectively, this makes a combo with all 4 of our cards: Nymph's Tears, Animate Weapon, Short Sword, and Titan. (Since the two weapons+Animate work with this). For the purposes of the competition, though, we choose just Nymph's Tears and Animate Weapon, as they combo more directly, letting you bypass the card's restrictions and reap the benefits (Horde of super-powerful Nymph Queens anyone?).

It also retains use outside of just the specific combo cards, netting a Sky Blitz-esque effect in decks such as Fractal+Flesh Recluse.

You seemed to miss a pretty big combo with this card, think about it then look in the spoiler if you haven't thought of it yet...
Spoiler for Hidden:

With this in mind, do any new creatures on your field after this is played also gain the buff? Overall, nice card idea, keep 'em coming (please).

I really like the idea! Some questions about it: it says it give a buff of +2/+2 (or +3/+3) to your creatures, it is a permanent so does that mean your creatures get this buff at the end of every turn? Also, if the card is somehow destroyed will you be able to play creatures? And last but silly, it cant stuck with others right?

Anyway really good job, with 4 difficult cards.

Note: if yiu want correct your last sentence at notes(in decks suck as)  :P

Yeah, I'm aware. This also makes it an even stronger combo with Nymph's Tears, as :death's Nymph can create Malignant Cells pretty easily if given a creature.

Yes, new creatures that come into play receive the buff, just like Nightfall/Eclipse

I really like the idea! It's a constant buff to your field, like Nightfall as said above. It's only the perm that stops you from playing new creatures, so yeah if you or your opponent destroy it you can play creatures as you like, but you will also lose the buff. I intended it to be able to stack, and I think it should, though Malignant Cells could get kind of out of hand.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.
