ART: IDEA: ~Napalm & iancudorinmarian NOTES: Idea by me and ~Napalm. Our cards are SoSe, mindgate, ash and holy light. We chose SoSe and ash as our "two cards"., but this works for mindgate as well. SoSe generates 6 cards (like using it twice), mindgate copies the card twice and ash generates 2 phoenixes. This works on fate egg as well (just like SoR egg, a SoR egg plus this would generate 4 creatures). At first it didn't have a timer, but ~Napalm decided to use one, because it would be really OP. SERIES: C-C-C-Combomaker x3 event.

I'm sorry, I'm missing the point of the timer. How many situations are there that would need the timer so this card isnt OP? I know napalm was talking about death effect cards last week, so this card doesnt surprise me. How she made a fuse of sose and ash eater into a death effect card though is really cool, of course with your help ian. I dont really know the conversation that went on between you two anyway, but this type of card is what I expected from nap and whoever her teammate was.

I suppose it would depend on the mechanics, but the worry was with cards that generate something else. Mitosis generates daughter creatures. Graboids generate Shriekers. Ash generates Phoenixes. Generating a second copy every time is pretty @#$% powerful. Parallel Universe generating two copies whenever you want? Pharaohs would literally swarm the field with Scarabs. You'd be up to your eyeballs in them in no time flat. Mitosis is the clear champion though. With Readiness, you could create 2 Dragons with a free ability. 4 of them for every shard in your hand. I suppose having a timer is a pretty feeble attempt to prevent the mid range decks from exploding, the OTKs will live on.

P.S. While this effect seems more fitting in Aether, Time was chosen due to widespread synergy. FFQ is the only one we thought of that would be left out.

The card is borderline OP even with the timer. Of course, if you have no ways to create new creatures our cards this is useless. But then you wouldn't be using it. One thing that helps balance this with SoSe is that you often don't have the quanta to play some of the cards, which would clog the hand, but PU, mitosis, mindgate, etc would be crazy OP without a timer.

Is precog and HG included? (drawing 2 cards) Or does it not count as creating a card?

I normally think of drawing being different than generating a card. I think the list would be something like this:

~ Parallel Universe, Mindgate (Fractal fills your hand anyway...)
~ Firefly Queen (eeeh... kinda...)
~ Zilch (Nightmare fills your hand too...)
~ Skeleton, Mummy, Boneyard (With some help from RT)
~ Graboid, Integrity (Oooh! Almost forgot about Integrity...)

~ Mitosis
  ~ Notta
~ Fate Egg, Pharaoh, Deja Vu (At least I think Vu counts. PU on itself basically... right?)

As for FW, I guess I'm not sure what it does mechanically. I would assume it'd be similar to drawing in theory, though two weapons for the price of one would be kinda fun
