I personally would never use this. The effect is pretty much useless and the cost is insanely high. I'd rather just use ice shield.
Now that you mention it, I must admit I don't really think 8

would make this highly-situational card
not UP. (I costed that that high in fear that it's too OP at low cost.)
It's pretty much useful only against other immortal-heavy decks (and most immortal-heavy decks are mono-Aether). Perhaps I can reduce the cost by one or two quanta.
However, there's no way to nullify SoW on immortals without resorting to reflective shields. Also, not only Ice Shield only have a chance to freeze, it also can be stolen.
