NOTES:
We've all had those dream where you were chased by a monster but couldn't move or do anything. Freekin' scary, say? Did you ever start waking up from sleep but had trouble moving yourself? Maybe you were experiencing
sleep paralysis
.
This card is an addition to Dream Catcher's deck - just one card added. Sleep paralysis is like Aether's silence, except it lasts for 2 turns. Under paralysis, opponent's creatures cannot attack or use skills for 2 turns as well. Dream catcher is one of the more cool conceptual false god. It utilizes denial (BH, EQ, Discord, Pests), creature control (SW, Lightning, Rage Pot, Congeal, Antimatter) and has other "dreamy" cards like Deja Vu, Butterfly effect, and abominations.
Sleep paralysis fits the "dream/nightmare" concept, and further extends the theme of denial and CC.

that's how you show a 0-cost card.
does this give momentum and an active skill, similar to luciferin?
does the active skill overwrite current skills?

Thanks for the feedback, Dragtom. I edited the card so its clearer and simpler. The creatures won't generate quanta. The spell itself puts quanta in the bank.

Changed card. Same FG. This was my original concept, which I like more than magnitude, but was struggling to find a mechanism for it.

Seism was annoying enough without a 'destroy everything' card. That said, the theme makes sense. The mechanic activating after an EQ is used is interesting. It's just the mechanic itself that I'm not quite so fond of.

It works like the stasis effect from sundial. Passive effects would still work - quanta generation, devourer, etc. I think overdrive would keep working, too.

Should passives work? I mean when frozen/BB'd no quanta generation etc., right? Overdrive works, though.

So basically unless you have certain permanents, you can't actually 'play' for 2 turns?
You'll just be watching a video that occasionally pauses, waiting for you to press space.
