ART: IDEA: Drake_XIV NOTES: My attempt for this competition was also to create stand-alone cards instead of being combo-centric with each other. I took a little basis of this card from MtG's Burning Tree Emissary. This helps fuel Seraph's Divine Shield in a monoFire environment and can be used in conjunction with Life [Mitosis] or Aether [Parallel Universe, Fractal] to create a surprising amount of Light. The active ability is to maintain the theme of the card; lighting a fire, letting the Emissary see and clear the path. The way it's worded does mean it damages your own stuff, which is how I feel Fire should be. SERIES:

Ctenophora are a type of jellyfish that rely on their transparency to camouflage, becoming practically invisible. The damage from the ability is spell damage and can be reflected. The damage from the ability goes through when the invisibility naturally fades away. Invisibility is the same as cloaked. SERIES:

Kindly nice cards.
Torchlight Emmisary is really nicely balanced. There is no chance to spam skill , because its harms everybody. Even the Torchlight. Nice, but it can overshadow Thunderstorm. With this 2 while casted... xd
Ctenophora is innovative too. But i dont think thats somebody will pay for 5 additional damage 2  every turn. Compares it to blessing or upped chaos seed...

Ctenophora is good. Only one question. Does Ctenophora skill is counted as +5/+0 for one turn, or as a spell?

  doesn't deal damage. Most of us when we make cards forget that the skill must make thematic sense with the element. Light has no CC except to darkness.
The skill of the water creature is a fueled skill like Seraph's Divine Shield. Annoying to keep refueling.
In general, the cards show a very weak synergy to the other card. Ctenophora is a fish. Doesn't show a thematic connection to a torchlight emissary really.
Not trashing your cards. I happen to focus more on negatives is all.
Edit: Saw it closer. Was wrong about the light skill. Still a weak synergy.

I feel that it's synergetic enough without feeling like a forced combo between them while maintaining the given elements.

Sorry. I'm not that great this day. Also, positivity isn't my strong suit, but I'll try my best.
The card Torchlight Emissary possesses a skill that is basically a Dry Spell each turn. This is useful fore clearing out large swaths of enemies that are to hard to clear out one by one, such as malignant cells and fireflies. Difference is this doesn't bring back quanta but instead removes invisibility, which shows a synergy between the card built with this card.
The card Ctenophora is also a good card for its ability to turn invisible. I imagine in real life it does this by way of camouflage. It is weak, but deals damage when irritated, making for stealth with a defense mechanism.
I would probably use Ctenophora in a patience deck. Well done there.

Hm, nice job allowing the combo to work in a trio, rather than a quartet/rainbow. Though the cards seem rather weak without SoP and strong with SoP.
