One small detail--scavengers tend to have bald heads so as not to get the feathers dirty/infected from eating carrion.

Try to make a round head :P In Asia, vultures have both round heads and eagle-like heads but with longer beaks. I like the bald head, it's evil >:D

Okay, I'm going to have to take a while with the recolor. I'm coloring individual pixels white, and the vulture isn't particularly small...

Click to enlarge it, the original file was too big to upload onto imageplay, and the one in the post is a thumbnail. I'll try to merge it with the existing vulture, not sure it would work, considering that this is like 2300 x 2800 pixels.
I know this would be a lot of work. However my idea on the merge would be to draw the whold bird from the start and then you could work the body of the old into this great head shot.
